Job Description

Informatics Consultant for Healthcare IT Modernization

Background:
We are seeking a skilled consultant to contribute across two critical projects within the regional program for modernizing healthcare IT systems. The consultant will take responsibility for informatics tasks related to configuration and integration and provide expert guidance on business and information architecture. The role includes leading subprojects and collaborating with project managers business representatives architects/developers and other informaticians within the projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise and guidance in informatics to ensure early benefits realization and maintainability of proposed solutions.
  • Perform information needs analysis alongside process modeling.
  • Conduct conceptual and information modeling.
  • Develop information specifications.
  • Apply national and international informatics standards.
  • Map information to established terminology systems (e.g. SNOMED CT).
  • Map information to established standards for data sharing and interoperability.

The ideal candidate is open communicative attentive and humble thriving in team environments. They should be analytical methodical responsible selfmotivated and deliveryfocused.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Degree in Informatics Systems Science or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in informatics.
  • Experience in conceptual and information modeling.
  • Familiarity with healthcare informatics standards.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English both spoken and written.
  • Experience with UML for conceptual and information modeling.
  • Experience with BPMN for process modeling.
  • Knowledge of quality and security requirements for digital information management in healthcare.

Meritorious Qualifications:

  • Experience in requirements gathering and analysis.
  • Experience as an assignment or project leader.
  • Background in healthcare.
  • Expertise in SNOMED CT and other classifications such as ICD10.

Assignment Details:

  • Start Date:
  • Duration: Untilwith the possibility of a 12month extension.
  • Location: Stockholm
  • Working Hours: 40 hours/week
  • Language: Swedish
