Job Description

What youll be doing:
- Working collaboratively with servers on the floor to assist in carrying out service standards:
- Anticipate guests needs & communicate with server on any additional menu ordering needs
- Assist servers with collecting food orders from the kitchen present to the guests in a timely courteous & correct manner
- Communicate with server & kitchen to ensure allergens & dietary restrictions are carried out properly
- Maintain knowledge of all food & beverage items in a prompt & professional manner
- Enhance revenue flow through suggestive selling techniques and proper followup
- Assist servers with additional beverage taking & beverage/wine service at the table
- Review and communicate with host team on reservations and assist with bussing and resetting of tables
- Assist servers with table maintenance throughout service for a proper formal dining experience
- Restock supplies dishes & side stand duties ensuring mise en place
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment and actively participate in health and safety initiatives
- Adhere to all hotel environmental policies and initiatives
- Carry out any other tasks as assigned
Qualifications :
Your experience and skillset includes:
- Minimum 6 months food and beverage experience
- Selfmotivated with the ability to make effective decisions
- Demonstrates initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to maintain high service levels under pressure
- Physically fit to lift trays repeatedly stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
