Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and proactive individual to join our team as a Contract Manager. This key position plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing the contract lifecycle ensuring compliance and optimisation of contract performance. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional organisational skills and a keen understanding of contract management principles providing strategic guidance and expert support to various departments within our organisation.

Main Responsibilities in Contract Management

  • Develop review and negotiate contracts to ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
  • Coordinate with project teams to provide guidance on contract matters safeguarding company interests.
  • Manage contractual changes and amendments minimizing business risks and maximizing value for the company.
  • Oversee the execution of contracts ensuring adherence to agreed terms and conditions.
  • Facilitate communication and understanding of contract stipulations amongst stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular audits of existing contracts to ensure compliance and performance.
  • Drafting contract and responsible of contracts renewals.
  • Prepare detailed reports and summaries on contractual matters for senior management.
  • Assist in preparing project budgets and forecasts ensuring that financial goals are met while adhering to contractual agreements.
  • Analyze contract pricing structures and identify costsaving opportunities.

Essential Requirements and Qualifications for a Contract Manager

  • Bachelors degree in engineering (Civil Mechanical or related field) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1012 years of experience as a Contracts Manager or similar role in the construction industry or real estate.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts legal terminology and procurement procedures.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong ability to manage multiple contracts concurrently.
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills to effectively manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software.
  • Ability to work independently while ensuring alignment with company goals and policies.

Preferred Experience and Skills in Contract Management

  • Experience in a fastpaced environment dealing with complex multilayered contracts.
  • Proven track record of improving contract management processes and reducing litigation risks.
