Safety Systems Engineer
What youll do:
- Support/ run strategic projects to define functional requirements for safety component/system development and clearly communicate conclusions/recommendations to stakeholders. Support internal and external customers in achieving success with customer occupant performance or safety goals through data analysis and recommendation.
- As assigned define customer need collect data summarize relevant data digest and analyze data communicate conclusions and recommendations including Autoliv products or innovation as appropriate within defined timeline.
- Must be able to handle large datasets create well defined scope from vague problem statement. Must be able to speak confidently to all levels and departments in our organization OEMs and academics.
What is required:
- Minimum BS in science i.e. engineering physics.
- 3 Experience with automotive restraints and development occupant performance data analysis and/or problem solving skills. Experience with new automotive interiors seating sensing and/or innovation
- OEM Tier 1 or academic Automotive application
- Test and simulation data analysis clear written and verbal communication appropriate for specific audience. Comfort level with digesting technical papers and regulations.
