Pediatrix has an attractive career opportunity for an experienced Neonatal Pediatric Hospitalist to join our practice at WellStar Spalding Regional Medical Center in Griffin Georgia a thriving Metro Atlanta suburb!
Job Description:
- Seeking a Board Certified Pediatrician with NICU/ NRP experience to provide coverage for our 18 bed MBU nursery and our growing 46 bed LevelII NICU
- Full time position includes a scheduled rotation of 7 days on/7 days off with considerable flexibility in scheduling (providing a total of 15 24H covered shifts per month) and rotating holidays
- Schedule includes rounding on both units during the day and call from home at night
- Skilled NICU nursing staff attends all deliveries MD called to attend only complex/very premature deliveries
- Ideal candidate will have experience with breadandbutter care of premature infants as well as neonatal procedures
- No circumcisions

- Provider must live within a 30minute drive to the hospital

- Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Pediatrics REQUIRED
- GA license (or willing to obtain) REQUIRED
- Previous employment experience with NICU/NRP (note in Experience field) REQUIRED
