Pediatrix is seeking an additional NNP to join our outstanding group of Neonatologists and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners at our Macon Georgia practice. New Childrens Hospital 2019 LevelIII NICU and a Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence!
Job Description:
- Atrium Health Navicent Beverly Knight Olson Children s Hospital located in Macon Georgia is the only dedicated pediatric hospital in central and south Georgia.
- Variable shifts including 10 hour days MTH 8 hour shifts on weekends and 1 NNP who covers 16hour nights 4 days per week. No call.
- Our practice consists of the 66bed stateoftheart LevelIII NICU
- Services provided include: highfrequency ventilation nitric oxide and a brain cooling
- Readily available subspecialty support
- Exceptional coverage by experienced NNPs
- Clinical appointment to Mercer Medical School
- Atrium Health Navicent is a designated LevelI trauma center one of six designated perinatal/neonatal regional centers in Georgia and threetime Magnet Designated hospital for nursing excellence nationwide
- Opened new 50000 square foot neonatal intensive care unit: Beverly Knight Olson Children s Hospital in the first quarter of 2019: Childrens Hospital Atrium Health Navicent Macon GA (childrenshospitalnh.org)
- Candidates must be NNP Board Certified (cannot accept FNP PNP or any other NP certifications)
- Not accepting new graduate candidates Current 2 years of employment experience as NNP (not including RN experience) is required.
- Not accepting Locums candidates

Requirement description :
ALL OF THE FOLLOWING ARE REQUIRED AT NAME CLEAR UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE.
- Masters Degree and/or Doctorate in Nursing REQUIRED
- APRN National Specialty Certification Board Certified NNP (cannot accept FNP PNP or any other NP certifications) (by time of start) REQUIRED
- GA license (or willing to obtain) REQUIRED
- 2 years of current experience as NNP (not including RN experience) REQUIRED
