Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Neonatologist to join our NICU team of 4 Neonatologists and 3 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners at Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) Women and Children s Hospital in beautiful Charleston WV.
Job Description:
- LevelIV 30bed NICU with an ADC of 24
- Approximately 3000 annual births with about 470 NICU and 1226 newborn nursery admissions
- Neonatologists provide 24/7 inhouse coverage with support from NNPs primarily in the newborn nursery (NNPs cover 12hour shifts)
- Attendance at deliveries required
- The unit is a teaching site for medical students and residents from WVU School of Medicine and West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg WV. Opportunity to be a Clinical Associate Professor with WVU School of Medicine s Charleston Division.
- Consultative services are provided by pediatric subspecialists representing more than 30 specialties including Pulmonary Medicine Surgery Neurology Nephrology Infectious Disease HematologyOncology Gastroenterology Endocrinology and Cardiology
- Option to cover at nearby LevelII NICU
- Ideal candidates will have 3 or more years of experience in a busy LevelIII/IV NICU

Requirement description :
- Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in NeonatalPerinatal Medicine REQUIRED
- WV license (or willing to obtain) REQUIRED
- 3 years of experience in a busy LevelIII/IV NICU (note in Experience field) PREFERRED

STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
- West Virginia
ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS : 3 years of experience in a busy LevelIII/IV NICU is preferred
