Job Description
Pediatrix is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Pediatric Hospitalist Medical Director to lead our esteemed healthcare team at Ohio Health a leading medical facility in Athens OH.
Job Description:
- Medical Director to lead a team of 3 Pediatric Hospitalists
- Newborn nursery care with NICU support from Pediatrix Neonatologists
- 24/7 oncall coverage round and go model with call from home
- Pediatric Hospitalists will perform circumcisions
- Pediatric Consultations: Provide expert Pediatric consultations to the Emergency Department offering timely assessments recommendations and treatment plans for pediatric patients.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with a team of Pediatric Hospitalists and Neonatologists to provide coordinated and comprehensive care to patients fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI): The ability to participate in CQI initiatives and clinical research projects contributing to the enhancement of patient care outcomes and best practices.
- Knowledge Exchange: Take advantage of the opportunity to exchange ideas and best practices with a large network of Pediatrix providers including over 400 NICUs and several thousand providers.

Requirement description :
- Board Certified in Pediatrics REQUIRED
- OH license (or willing to obtain) REQUIRED
- Does the provider require visa support J1 or H1B (note in Additional Submission Details field) REQUIRED
- Previous employment experience in leadership role(s) PREFERRED
