Position Overview We are hiring a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician to join a dynamic and highly specialized team at a stateoftheart 30bed pediatric Emergency Department in Las Vegas NV. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in Pediatric Emergency Medicine a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to thrive in a collaborative fastpaced environment.
Job Responsibilities - Provide exceptional care in a highacuity pediatric Emergency Department with patient volumes approaching 55000 annually.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including specialists in neurosurgery pediatric surgery and subspecialty care.
- Work closely with PICU CVICU NICU and hospitalist teams to deliver coordinated comprehensive care.
- Engage with child life specialists and social work teams to ensure holistic patient and family support.
- Participate in a combination of 9hour and 10hour shifts with an annual commitment of 1560 hours.
- Optional teaching opportunities with residents and fellows from six programs.
- Potential opportunity to take on a Residency Director position for candidates with an interest in academic leadership.
Key Requirements - Education & Certification:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine (must be Board Eligible within 5 years of fellowship completion).
- Fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine to be completed before start date.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of current Pediatric Emergency Medicine work experience in a hospital setting.
- Must provide the last 12 months of case logs during the interview process.
- Licensure:
- Current or eligible for Nevada medical license.
- Other Requirements:
- Clean malpractice and licensure history is highly preferred.
- Candidates must reside locally in the Las Vegas area; relocation support is available.
- Candidates requiring visa sponsorship (J1 or H1B) will be considered.
