Job Description
Position: Certified Surgical Technologist(CST)
Start Date: 12/16/2024
Duration: 12 weeks
Location: Alpena MI 49707
Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Days 6:30 AM 5:00 PM 10
Shift Notes: 6:30A 5:00P (40 Hour Guarantee)
Weekend Requirements: For Call
OnCall Requirements: 1 Weekend Per Month 1 Weeknight/Week

Travel Policy: Cannot accept local candidates who live within 50 miles of the facility.
This individual fills the role of surgical technologist II in the Operating Room. They understand and demonstrate knowledge of surgical procedures. Assure all supplies and equipment are available for the procedure and in working condition. Confirm and/or assemble sterile instruments for use correctly. Anticipate the needs of the surgeon. They assist in keeping an accurate account of drugs sharps and instruments. They are responsible for maintaining and monitoring the sterile field.
Submission Requirements- 2 Years of Experience Required
- Recent traveler experience highly preferred
- Please notate if your traveler has EPIC experience
- ALL SCHEDULING REQUESTS MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION (Facility will NOT approve scheduling requests at/after the time of offer / Please obtain this information prior to submittal / Requests after an offer can be cause for rescinded offer)

- Work History
- Skills Checklist current to 1 year pertinent to the specialty
- 2 Supervisory Reference Forms taken within the last two years
- Licensure & Certifications (NBSTSA NCCT or ABSA & BLS AHA)
- Candidates Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates 50mile radius restriction)
