Job Description
Role: Lien Negotiator.
Location: Remote.
Salary Range: $4500 USD (depending on experience).
Work Hours: 9 AM to 6 PM Eastern
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Lien Negotiator to join our team specializing in negotiating medical claim settlements with attorneys. This is a critical role requiring exceptional negotiation and relationship management skills to drive successful outcomes while maintaining professional partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct negotiations with attorneys to settle medical claims below the full billed amount (e.g. achieve reductions like $100000 to $50000).
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with attorneys to facilitate ongoing deal flow.
- Balance achieving financial outcomes with effective relationship management strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to track settlements and ensure smooth case management.
- Utilize dashboards and reporting tools for monitoring performance metrics and settlement processes.
Qualifications
- Language Proficiency: Strong English skills with minimal accent essential for effective communication with attorneys.
- Experience: 5 years in sales collections or similar negotiationfocused roles.Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel and Power BI for reviewing reports and working with dashboards.
- Interpersonal Skills: Personable and persuasive with the ability to adapt negotiation tactics based on the situation.
- Work Alignment: Availability to work in time zone aligned with Eastern Standard Time (9 AM 6 PM ET).
