For our client an innovative company shaping the future of IT solutions we are seeking a Test Automation Engineer. This role offers the chance to work on exciting projects with advanced testing methodologies and make a meaningful impact on the quality assurance process.
Tasks
- Test Execution: Execute both manual and automated test cases to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Test Design: Create and maintain detailed test cases ensuring they align with overall test strategies.
- Automation Development: Collaborate on the automation of test processes contributing to more efficient workflows.
- Documentation: Document all tests performed with precision ensuring traceability and transparency.
- Process Improvement: Actively participate in designing and further developing test processes and automation frameworks.
Requirements
- Technical Background: Completed education in IT or a related field.
- Experience: Several years of professional experience in software testing or quality assurance; ISTQB certification is highly desirable.
- TechSavvy: Familiarity with IT tools (e.g. Windows ERP systems) and development knowhow is an advantage.
- Problem Solver: Passion for testing troubleshooting and identifying software issues.
- Languages: Proficiency in German (written and spoken); English skills are a plus.
- Soft Skills: A structured independent and reliable working style paired with strong communication and collaboration skills.
