Join our portfolio company: A German dualuse technology company that develops unmanned ground vehicles to spearhead automation in both governmental and civilian use cases.
In this role youll:
- Design implement and optimize navigation perception and planning algorithms for autonomous robotic systems
- Collaborate with Software Engineers Hardware Engineers and Data Scientists to ensure efficient integration of autonomy features
- Develop systems for processing and fusing sensor data including LiDAR cameras radar and GPS to enable advanced situational awareness
- Perform thorough testing of autonomous systems in both simulation environments and realworld applications to ensure performance safety and reliability
- Document development processes algorithms and system configurations for internal teams and external stakeholders
Your Profile
- Technical expertise in programming languages such as C and Python with experience in ROS (Robot Operating System)
- Practical experience in path planning SLAM and machine learning techniques for robotics
- Knowledge in integrating and processing data from LiDAR radar GPS and camera sensors
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems both independently and in team settings
- Familiarity with version control (e.g. Git) continuous integration and Agile development methodologies
- Experience with simulation environments (e.g. Gazebo) and an understanding of cybersecurity principles for autonomous systems is a plus
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Robotics Computer Science or a related field
- Business proficiency in English; and German is a plus
Please note that we are looking for support in the Munichoffice of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
