Job Description
Gardener
This position ensures soil cultivation digging forking mulching watering raking weeding edging pruning seed sowing and planting. The use and maintenance of hand tools and basic light machinery. The use of cylinder and rotary mowers strimmers and leaf blowers.
- Install and maintain seasonal plants
- Mow trim and fertilize green spaces
- Mulch edge and weed gardens
- Prune and trim trees and bushes
- Maintain all gardening equipment and machinery like mowers trimmers and leaf blowers
- Monitor and maintain the health of plants
- Deal with pest problems that could damage plants
- Plant and maintain healthy growth of trees lawns turf shrubs hedges ground cover and other plants
- Ensure timely completion of all assigned responsibilities
Qualifications :
- Previous experience as a Gardener
- Must be able to tolerate summer and winter weather conditions
- Must be able to withstand 20km/h winds while working in air ducts
- Familiar with chemicals and gardening tools/equipment
- Must be able to tolerate noisy machinery air compressors motors very frequently
