Job Description BD is one of the largest global medical technology companies advancing the world of health through innovative solutions. As part of the Diagnostic Solutions team the Account Executive is responsible for driving the growth profitability and overall account management of BDs Diagnostic Solutions product portfolio within hospitals and clinical labs. This role involves developing territory and strategic account sales plans coordinating with multiple stakeholders and executing sales strategies to secure new customers and maintain longterm relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a strategic sales plan for assigned territory. Lead account planning with hospital and clinical lab stakeholders.
- Customer Engagement: Use clinical and economic justification to demonstrate product benefits and drive new customer acquisitions.
- Account Growth & Retention: Maintain and grow existing revenue streams through continuous customer contact and collaboration with BD teams (Instrument Specialists Clinical Specialists etc.).
- CrossFunctional Collaboration: Coordinate with BDs customerfacing associates and distribution partners to ensure alignment and successful customer outcomes.
- Product Knowledge & Demonstrations: Effectively deploy product features and benefits to multiple decisionmakers and influencers.
- Sales Cycle Management: Oversee the entire sales process including customer acquisition product demonstrations and contract closure.
- PostSales Support: Work with the Service organization to ensure successful product installation and customer satisfaction.
- Administrative Duties: Manage sales forecasts funnel data and maintain records in Salesforce. Ensure adherence to company policies and safety standards.
Required Skills:
- Sales Expertise: Proven success in attaining sales goals building customer loyalty and managing relationships.
- Territory Management: Strong organizational skills to assess accounts manage territories and prioritize sales activities.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and persuade decisionmakers.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience using Salesforce.com MS Office and Power BI. Comfortable with connectivity devices.
- Drivers License: Must possess and maintain a valid stateissued drivers license and meet BDs auto safety standards.
Experience & Education:

Required:
- BA/BS in Life Sciences Biological Sciences Business or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of documented sales success in laboratory products (top 20%) with at least 1 year of clinical laboratory or hospital sales experience.
- A combination of clinical market sales financial or technical selling experience.

Preferred:
- A degree in Medical Technology (MT ASCP) or Microbiology.
- Experience in clinical market sales and selling to hospitals and labs.
