Job Description
Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: Irving Texas
Shift: Monday and Tuesday (7:00AM 7:30PM) Wednesday (9:00AM 9:30PM)
Job Description: Performs computed tomography (CT) procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by a physician or other licensed provider.
Responsibilities: Handling patients with IVs oxygen chest tubes or other devices; Monitoring patient during imaging; Demonstrating knowledge of emergency drugs and equipment; Using proper body mechanics when assisting patients; Administering contrast media and other medications in accordance with medication administration guidelines.

Essential Functions: Performing high quality CT procedures maintaining production and quality of imaging procedures utilizing AIDET when communicating with patients preparing patient and area for procedure adhering to safety requirements maintaining equipment and work area screening patients according to approved policies and procedures maintaining medical imaging records.
Key Success Factors: Ability to perform high quality CT procedures explain the procedure to patients give services in a timely accurate and costefficient manner perform tasks autonomously maintain a calm and helpful attitude effectively administer first aid ensure customer satisfaction serve as preceptor take oncall duty if required.
Certification/License/Registration: Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Computed Tomography (CT) Radiography (R) or Nuclear Medicine (N) or by Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Tech (CNMT).
