The job is for a Multimodality Technologist at CT/Xray.
The individual will be responsible for performing imaging procedures in two or more disciplines focusing 50% in an advanced discipline such as CT MR Nuc Med or IR.
They will be handling patients with various medical devices like IVs oxygen chest tubes etc. and monitor them during imaging.
The technologist must demonstrate knowledge of emergency drugs and equipment and administer contrast media and other medications following guidelines.
The job requires proper body mechanics when assisting patients and requires maintaining the production and quality of imaging procedures.
The technologist will also prepare the patient and area for the procedure adhere to safety requirements maintain the equipment and work area and obtain and maintain relevant documentation.
The individual must be able to explain the procedure to patients maintain a calm and helpful attitude and effectively administer first aid.
They will also be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining current knowledge and skills.
The job requires a graduate of an accredited program with less than 1 year of experience and specific certifications and licenses.
