Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Faculty Member to join our Nursing Program specializing in Maternity Nursing. This position will involve teaching clinical supervision and research in the area of maternal and child health. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering highquality education to nursing students engaging in clinical practice and contributing to the development of the maternity nursing curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching & Instruction:
- Deliver lectures seminars and practical sessions on maternity nursing including topics such as prenatal intrapartum postpartum care and newborn care.
- Develop and implement course materials including syllable lesson plans and assessments.
- Provide academic support and guidance to nursing students.

Clinical Supervision:
- Supervise students during clinical placements in maternity units ensuring safe and effective care.
- Assess students clinical performance provide constructive feedback and offer guidance on professional development.

Curriculum Development:
- Contribute to the ongoing development and evaluation of the nursing curriculum in maternity care.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the integration of evidencebased practices into the educational program.

Research & Professional Development:
- Engage in research related to maternity nursing maternal health or nursing education.
- Stay current with the latest trends best practices and research in maternity nursing and healthcare.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the advancement of the nursing program.

Academic Service:
- Participate in departmental meetings committees and other academic activities.
- Contribute to institutional goals and initiatives including student recruitment retention and community engagement.

Requirements
Education:
- Master s degree in Nursing (MScN MSN) with a focus on MaternalNewborn Health or related field required.
- A Doctoral degree (PhD DNP) in nursing or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience:
- Minimum of X years of clinical experience in maternity nursing with demonstrated expertise in prenatal intrapartum and postpartum care.
- Prior experience in teaching or nursing education is highly desirable.
- Experience in clinical supervision of nursing students is a plus.
Skills:
- Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and implement educational content effectively.
- Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
- A commitment to evidencebased practices in teaching and patient care.
