Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in Norwich United Kingdom. As a Care Assistant you will play a vital role in supporting our clients to maintain their independence and quality of life in their own homes.
- Visits from 7am
- 12.0024.00 per hour
- Paid mileage
- Paid travel time and waiting time between clients visits at regular hourly rate
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities
- Support clients with mobility and transfers ensuring their safety and comfort
- Assist with meal preparation when required
- Help clients with medication
- Engage in social activities and provide companionship to clients
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients
- Observe and report any changes in clients physical or mental health
- Maintain accurate records of care
- Participate in regular training and development sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
Qualifications :
- Care experience is Not necessary but you will need to be at least 18 years old.
- This job involves travelling from home to home therefore you will need a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
- No formal qualifications required; full training will be provided
- This role is subject to a DBS
- Genuine passion for supporting and caring for others
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build professional relationships
- Reliable trustworthy and respectful demeanour
- Patience empathy and understanding
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for maintaining accurate records
- Ability to work flexibly as part of a team and independently
- Previous experience in a care setting or personal experience of caring for family members is advantageous but not essential
- Willingness to learn and adapt to clients individual needs
- Commitment to maintaining client dignity and promoting independence
