Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in Norwich United Kingdom. As a Care Assistant you will play a vital role in supporting our clients to maintain their independence and quality of life in their own homes.

  • Visits from 7am
  • 12.0024.00 per hour
  • Paid mileage
  • Paid travel time and waiting time between clients visits at regular hourly rate
  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities
  • Support clients with mobility and transfers ensuring their safety and comfort
  • Assist with meal preparation when required 
  • Help clients with medication 
  • Engage in social activities and provide companionship to clients
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients
  • Observe and report any changes in clients physical or mental health
  • Maintain accurate records of care 
  • Participate in regular training and development sessions to enhance skills and knowledge

Qualifications :

  •  Care experience is Not necessary but you will need to be at least 18 years old.
  • This job involves travelling from home to home therefore you will need a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
  • No formal qualifications required; full training will be provided
  • This role is subject to a DBS
  • Genuine passion for supporting and caring for others
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build professional relationships
  • Reliable trustworthy and respectful demeanour
  • Patience empathy and understanding 
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills for maintaining accurate records
  • Ability to work flexibly as part of a team and independently
  • Previous experience in a care setting or personal experience of caring for family members is advantageous but not essential
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to clients individual needs
  • Commitment to maintaining client dignity and promoting independence
