Responsibilities:
- Oversee all operational aspects of over 300 live sporting events per year
- Execute remote production needs such as scheduling crew ordering onsite facilities transmission and creating and distributing paperwork
- Support the Live Events production team and onsite technical crew by serving as onsite Tech Manager when needed
- Maintain inventory of Live Events related equipment
- Help manage the Live Events budget including monthly forecasting payroll and invoice processing
- Collaborate with other departments and personnel to execute various initiatives and improve production workflows
- Support the integration of new technologies into the broadcast
- Build and maintain relationships with external vendors and team partners
- Understand and proactively navigate the constantly evolving production landscape
Qualifications :
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in live event broadcasts
- Solid base knowledge of remote cloud based television production equipment and operations workflows
- Technical understanding of a live event broadcast
Desired Characteristics:
- Working knowledge of digital video and social media production a plus
- Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
- Highly motivated organized selfstarter interested in and able to excel in rapidly evolving environment
