Job Description
As a LiveIn Carer at Home Instead you will play a pivotal role in helping clients maintain their independence and comfort within their own homes. Youll provide personalized compassionate care tailored to each clients unique needs promoting their dignity wellbeing and overall quality of life. This position is perfect for caring patient and committed individuals who are passionate about making a meaningful impact on others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Personal Care Support: Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing dressing grooming and toileting ensuring their hygiene and dignity are respected.
- Medication Management: Oversee and administer medications helping clients stay on track with their prescribed regimens.
- Emotional Care: Offer companionship and engage clients in activities that boost their emotional wellbeing and enrich their daytoday life.
- Meal Preparation: Plan cook and serve nutritious meals tailored to the clients dietary requirements and preferences.
- Household Tasks: Provide light housekeeping such as cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and clean home environment.
- Mobility Support: Assist clients with mobility including the use of aids and supporting transitions between positions (e.g. from bed to chair).
- Collaborative Care: Coordinate with healthcare professionals care managers and family members to implement personalized care plans.
- Health Monitoring: Keep track of clients health and report any changes or concerns to care managers or medical professionals.
- Emergency Response: Be prepared to handle emergencies deliver first aid and contact the appropriate services when needed.

Qualifications :
About You:
- Experience: While prior experience in livein care or healthcare roles is beneficial its not essential as comprehensive training will be provided.
- Empathy: A compassionate and sincere attitude with a deep commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities with the capacity to foster meaningful relationships with both clients and their families.
- Patience: The ability to manage difficult situations calmly and empathetically offering steady support and reassurance.
- Flexibility: Willingness to adjust to changing client needs and work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Driving: A valid drivers license is desirable but not mandatory.
