Job Description
Your natural flare of compassion empathy and the desire to help others will be an essential part of this role enjoying 1hr minimum stay your primary responsibility will be to assist clients providing their care in a dignified manner from start to finish giving companionship and stimulation with their daily activities ensures their safety comfort and maintenance of their emotional health and wellbeing.
This will include but is not limited to:
- Personal Care: Assisting with bathing grooming dressing and toileting when required.
- Medication Reminders: Ensuring clients take their medications as prescribed.
- Meal Preparation: Planning and preparing nutritious meals according to dietary needs.
- Light Housekeeping: Assisting with light cleaning laundry and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Transportation: Providing transportation for clients to appointments errands and social outings. Giving them the freedom and choice when require.
Gaining familiarity about you your hobbies and interests you will be matched to your clients and will remain under their care allowing you both to build a trusting relationship to engage with each other not only will complete the task led elements of your visit but you can be their companion also.
You will be supporting them to stay at home with their creature comforts and familiar environments. Allowing them to continue living life their way as comfortably as possible putting their wishes at the very heart of what you do.
This is not just care its Home Instead care!
Qualifications :
The only essential skill and qualification is a Full UK Driving Licence with use of your own vehicle.
Paid ongoing training will be provided and consistent development.
Unfortunately we do not hold a current sponsorship licence and cannot support 20hr supplement hours.
