This role is ideal for someone with a heart for care and the desire to make a meaningful impact on the lives of elderly individuals. You will play a crucial role in supporting our clients with their daily routines offering both practical help and emotional support to ensure their wellbeing and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care with dignity and respect including assistance with bathing dressing and grooming.
Plan and prepare meals according to specific dietary needs.
Offer medication reminders and assist with mobility.
Engage in meaningful conversations and activities that promote emotional wellbeing and mental stimulation.
Conduct light housekeeping tasks to maintain a tidy and comfortable living environment.
Facilitate appointments and social outings providing transportation when necessary.
Observe and report any changes in the clients condition or home environment.
Hours:
PartTime position with a requirement to work some weekends and evenings on a rotational basis.
