Job Description
We are looking for people with kind compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients to join our team in Luton as a Live In Care CAREGiver. As a Live In Care CAREGiver you will live in a clients home and provide a variety of nonmedical services to help them keep independent in their own home.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide Live in Care usually working alone.
- Reflect the core values of Home Instead Senior Care Franchise
- Contribute to apositive living environment to enhance a clients quality of life.
- as you will be staying in the clients home you will follow their house rules and be mindful of their need for privacy.
- Document daily activities of client keep client safe and promote their wellbeing.
- Maintain Regular communication with line Manager and office staff.
Companionship Services & Home Help:
- Monitor Diet and eating.
- Stimulate and encourage through a variety of activities i.e clothing selection hobbies etc.
- Run errands/collect prescriptions etc.
- Performing light household task i.e dusting vacuuming and making beds etc.
- Help with travel arrangements.
- Accompany to appointments and social events etc.
- Plan prepare and tidy away meals.
- Supervise home Maintenance.
Personal Care Services
- Help with bathing dressing and grooming.
- Provide medication reminders
- Assit to eat and drink etc.
- Help with continence care.
- Provide respite / Dementia care.
- Assist with morning / wake up and or evening / tuck in
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- Ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect.
- Ability to adapt to various living environments and locations
- Ablity to listen communicate and build relationship with clients and their families in a friendly and pleasant manner.
- Excellent time keepr organised and professional.
- Willing to seek guidance when needed and follow instructions.
- Good level of stamina and fitness to meet the physical demands of the job.
- Thos role require you to obtain as Enhance Disclosure ( DBS ) from the relevant body.
Additional Information :
As a Live In Care CAREGiver you will be provided with 3 meals a day or an allowance from the client a separate room to stay and access to a TV and WiFi. In addition we offer comprehensive training and support.
