Job Description

As a Weekend Care Supervisor you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of care for our clients during weekend hours.

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead support and inspire both Clients and Care Professionals. With a focus on organisation professionalism and quality you will play a key role in ensuring seamless care delivery over the weekend.

Work Schedule Weekend Office Hours:

  • Work Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM including a onehour lunch break each day.
  • Attend a Friday handover meeting at 4:00 PM and provide a Monday morning handover at 9:00 AM.

OutofHours Coverage:

  • Hold the outofhours phone on Friday Saturday and Sunday evenings to provide support as needed
  • Oversee and coordinate the delivery of personcentred care to clients during weekend shifts
  • Supervise and support care staff providing guidance and mentorship as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant care regulations and standards
  • Manage staff rotas and allocate duties effectively
  • Conduct regular assessments and update care plans as required
  • Liaise with clients families healthcare professionals and other stakeholders
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to any emergencies or incidents
  • Maintain accurate records and complete necessary documentation
  • Participate in staff training and development initiatives
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of care services

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in care supervision or management
  • NVQ Level 3 or above in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
  • Strong leadership and management skills 
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated problemsolving abilities and decisionmaking skills
  • Proficiency in time management and organisational skills
  • Indepth knowledge of care regulations and standards
  • Understanding of personcentred care principles and practices
  • Familiarity with safeguarding procedures and care planning processes
  • Empathetic and supportive approach 
  • Good IT skills
