You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are seeking a compassionate and reliable carer to provide care for a female client in her home. The ideal candidate will be patient understanding and dedicated to ensuring her wellbeing and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
Meal Preparation:
Assist the client with planning and preparing balanced nutritious meals based on any dietary needs or restrictions. The ability to cook meals tailored to her preferences is important.
Medication Management:
Ensure that medications are taken as prescribed provide timely reminders and help track daily medication schedules. The candidate will also need to monitor and report any changes in the clients condition.
Personal Care:
Provide support with daily personal hygiene tasks such as bathing grooming dressing and maintaining general cleanliness. Help with mobility or transfers if necessary and assist with light housekeeping to maintain a tidy living space.
Pet Care:
The client has cats so the assistant should be comfortable around pets and may assist with feeding or caring for the animals as needed.
Smoking Environment:
The client is a smoker and the assistant must be comfortable with this environment. The role requires sensitivity and respect for the clients habits while maintaining a positive professional attitude.
Schedule: 2 hours daily
Qualifications :
Full training will be provided. No previous care experience necessary. We are looking for people from across the community who share in our values to provide compassionate care and get to know our clients as you would your own family
