Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Giver to join our team in BradfordonAvon United Kingdom. As a Care Giver you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing personalized care and support in their homes.
- Assist clients with daily living activities including personal hygiene dressing and mobility
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary requirements
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients health conditions
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans
- Keep accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients conditions
- Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Qualifications :
- Compassionate and kindhearted nature with a genuine passion for supporting others
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build professional relationships with clients
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Reliable trustworthy and respectful demeanor
- Physical stamina to assist clients with mobility and daily activities
- Patience and emotional resilience to handle challenging situations
- Basic first aid knowledge (training can be provided)
- Ability to follow care plans and maintain accurate records
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel locally (preferred)
- Previous experience in a care setting personal experience caring for a family member or voluntary caregiving experience is beneficial but not required
Additional Information :
- We pay between 13.00 to 28.00 a hour.
- Paid Travel and Waiting time between client visits
- Paid mileage with payments matched to current fuel prices.
- Paid onboarding training and ongoing training including CPR and Dementia training. Free qualifications such as The Care Certificate NVQ diplomas.
- Paid holiday
- Regular working pattern with 1 hour minimum visits to regular clients.
- Out of hours support from the Office team
