Job Description
Checkout.com is actively looking for a driven and agile Senior Reconciliation Analyst to join our growing Finance team.
Working as part of our Treasury function you will support the reconciliation of Payment Gateway (Schemes / APM) transactions. Evolving in a highpace and dynamic environment meticulous attention to detail will be key.
The ideal candidate will be a dedicated laserfocused and highly organized individual not shying away from high volume of work. You must be a team player when it comes to getting the job done and assisting wherever you can.
What youll be doing
- Improve processes maintain & increase reconciliation robustness and introduce controls.
- Perform automation work & support new product projects alongside crossfunctional teams.
- Support the implementation of reconciliation systems (internal external)
- Support Reconciliation leadership with adhoc tasks (e.g. reconciliation signoffs) and regular KPI dashboards
- Be an SME in reconciliations systems and tools of Payments transactions apply expert knowledge of clearing and settlement processes
- Assist with training of junior staff & updating process documentation
- Support internal and external audits
- Continually develop skills and knowledge in line with business growth and expansion
- Reconcile Checkout.coms payment gateway processing across multiple bank accounts and providers
- Identify discrepancies the respective root causes and take action to eliminate and prevent any such in perspective
- Communicate with internal & external stakeholders to resolve queries in an effective and timely manner
Qualifications :
- University degree in a numerical subject (and strong academic record) or 2 years work experience in reconciliations in a highvolume transaction environment
- Very good knowledge of MS Excel (Formulas PQ or VBA)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets with skill and confidence
- Proven ability to find endtoend solutions to issues and work crossfunctionally and with remote teams
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in an evolving environment and often shifting priorities
- Fluency in English and excellent communication skills at all levels
- Knowledge of Card Schemes Alternative Payment Methods or Payin / Payout solutions
- Ability to selfmanage individual projects of high complexity and automate manual tasks within the team or department
- Ability to build relationships with key stakeholder groups to achieve business outcomes and improve efficiency of processes
- Fast learner able to work independently and with minimal supervision
