Reporting to the Payments Manager the Payments Specialist will be responsible for constant optimisation of payment methods and other 3rd parties across all channels / platforms to maximize revenue and set a best in industry payments service.
The Payments Specialist will be analytical data driven and inquisitive; manipulating large volumes of transaction and customer data to understand payments behavior trends and issues.
Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Track and analyze full life cycle users experience on deposit withdrawal request to ensure Rank maximizes its revenue.
Resolve operational payment issues quickly and efficiently whilst ensuring the best customer experience.
Periodic Payments KPI reporting delivered into Digital Leadership team. Review evaluate and provide recommendations to the Payments Manager for changes to policy and procedure within the department.
Maintaining the procedures for financial transaction processing for example withdrawal processing automation rules and realtime processing.
Reconciliation of financial transactions; including gateway deposit transactions to platform wallet credits reconciliation.
Deal with all requests for payment related data and analysis and work with Data Analyst to deliver in a timely manner.
Deputies for Payments Manager in meetings with tech teams and platform provider when required.
Supporting the wider Fraud and Payments teams with training mentoring and coaching junior team members on all things payments.
Appetite to become SME for operational payment questions.
Ensure all payment related process documentation and training material is current and regularly reviewed
Working to strict payments related goals and objectives.
Good knowledge of online payment methods.
Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge including use of Pivot Tables VLookups etc.
Ability to work with senior stakeholders and to lead changes within the department.
Management experience in working with other operational department
Qualifications :
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lead crossdepartment changesprocedures.
Ability to selfmanage and integrate into various existing team structures.
Exceptional prioritising and Multitasking skills.
Ability to trust own judgment and make logical recommendations.
