QA QC Manager

Roles and responsibilities

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented QA/QC Manager (Advanced Manufacturing and Technology Building Projects) to join our team! In this role, you will get to lead quality assurance and control efforts for advanced manufacturing and technology building projects, ensuring that all deliverables meet the highest standards of excellence.

What You'll Be Doing

Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control plans for all phases of the project.
Conduct regular inspections, audits, and testing to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.
Coordinate with project teams to identify and resolve quality-related issues.
Maintain detailed records of QA/QC activities and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to applicable codes, regulations, and industry best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure quality standards are met.
Quality Assurance (QA)
Policy Development: Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards for projects or production.
System Implementation: Establish and maintain a Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
Training and Awareness: Provide training and guidance to team members on quality standards and processes.
Quality Control (QC)
Inspection Oversight: Supervise inspections and testing of materials, products, and processes to ensure they meet specifications.
Defect Management: Identify defects, non-conformities, or issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Documentation Review: Approve and review QC documentation, including inspection and test plans (ITPs) and material compliance records.

Desired candidate profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in QA/QC roles, with a focus on large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of quality control processes, standards, and tools.
• Proven ability to conduct inspections, audits, and testing to ensure compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
