Job Description

About Role

We are looking for a senior advisorconsolidation to deliver consolidation services and ensure compliance with internal and external accounting and reporting requirements and regulations in accordance with IFRS and company policies. This role will be based in Montreal Canada.

Responsibilities

Participating in the monthly consolidation of Product Groups.
Train and guide team to deliver qualitative and timely results.
Prepare and conduct training programs for Internal teams.
Analysing consolidated financial statements to ensure output is compliant to the requirements of all stakeholders.
Preparing financial reports for senior management.
Providing HFM guidance and other accounting advice to our controllership and finance service team to improve performance.
Ensure periodic Risk and Control Matrix (RACM) compliance as applicable support and liaise with Internal/External Auditors during SOX and Substantive audits so as to ensure a fully compliant environment.
Continuously improving our processes with an innovative mindset by leveraging data analytics and digital solution.
Collaborating with various teams across the global organization.

Experience and Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance accounting certification CPA or equivalent.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in consolidation in a large multinational multicurrency organization.
Fluent in French and English both written and spoken. The duties of this position require daily collaboration with colleagues teams or partners based outside Quebec.
Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) would be an asset.
Strong understanding of IFRS.
Experience in preparing consolidated statements of cash flows is an asset.
Understanding of accounting for financial assets and liabilities is an asset.
Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines.
Ability to work with various teams across many countries and time zones.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Analytical and problemsolving skills including variance analysis capabilities.
Beneficial to have SAP experience.
