The Inspector shall check the quality of work in the project.
They must be completely familiar with the plans, general specifications, particular specifications, and construction methods for the phases of the work to which they have been assigned.
The Inspectors are responsible for the direct oversight of the performance of the Contractor on site, checking for conformance of the works with the contract documentation.
They will be coordinating daily with the Contractor’s Quality Engineers in charge of the packages of work to advice on the proper execution of the work.
Inspection and Testing
Mechanical Inspections: Perform inspections on mechanical systems, equipment, and components, including HVAC systems, piping, boilers, pressure vessels, and mechanical assemblies.
Testing: Conduct functional tests and checks to ensure mechanical systems operate as intended, using specialized tools and techniques (e.g., pressure testing, non-destructive testing).
Quality Control: Verify that materials, assemblies, and installations meet specified standards, codes, and regulations.
Documentation and Reporting
Inspection Reports: Document inspection results, identify defects, and provide detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions or further evaluation.
Compliance Audits: Ensure that mechanical systems meet relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards (e.g., ASME, ANSI, ISO).
Non-Conformance Tracking: Record non-conformances and track the implementation of corrective actions, ensuring compliance with standards.
Safety and Regulatory Compliance
Safety Standards: Ensure that mechanical systems meet all safety guidelines and regulations to prevent accidents, malfunctions, or hazards.
Regulatory Knowledge: Stay updated on relevant regulations and codes (e.g., local building codes, OSHA standards, and international mechanical standards).
Inspection of Installations: Inspect mechanical installations at different stages of construction or maintenance to ensure they adhere to safety practices and standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical is required with typically 5+ years of relevant experience.
Experience in Hospitals is mandatory.

Familiarity with inspection tools and techniques (e.g., ultrasonic testing, pressure testing).
Understanding of mechanical engineering principles and technical drawings.
Proficiency in using inspection software for documentation and reporting.
Communication and Reporting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to prepare inspection reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical team members or clients
