Job Description
- To administer first aid treatment to injured or ill Team Members. To monitor treat and provide followup on workincurred injuries and to assess and evaluate potential workincurred injuries.
- Evaluate treat (per standing orders) and advise. Schedule medical appointment when necessary and provide followup care per doctor orders.
- Coordinate/communicate with Forepersons Superintendents Workers Compensation and external medical providers to insure proper medical treatment of injured Team Member. Maintain current and accurate medical records for each Team Member
- Coordinate Company activities
- Coordinate annual hearing tests
- Participate in safety training
- Maintain weekly safety statistics. Provide information to Forepersons Superintendents Plant Managers Operations Manager Director of Operations and Human Resources as needed
- Maintain adequate medical inventory
- Administration of workers compensation documentation
- Participating in communityrelated activities (e.g. Relay for Life)
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- Must have a valid unencumbered LVN license in the State of Louisiana or a compact state license. CPR/AED certified.
- Preferred: Wound care experience employee health experience knowledge of OSHA
- Proficient in MS Office
