Job Description
- Be able to work in a fast paced setting hanging a live chicken
- Be sure that all cages are empty and returned to Forklift Operator
- Adhere to all Foster Farms policies & procedures and all animal welfare laws & regulations.
- Be able to stand for several hours at a time
- Be able to work in a dimly lit work area shoulder to shoulder with other employees
- Be able to grasp a chicken at approximately waist level and hang a live chicken on a shackle at shoulder height
- Be at workstation on time with all work apparel clean sanitized and with all required safety equipment
- Obey all safety USDA HACCP and plant rules and regulations
- Perform any duties required by management
Qualifications :
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and climb.
- Must have good communication skills both written and oral
- Must be able to work weekends and overtime
- Must be able to work in a controlled environment (i.e. hot and cold)
