Job Description
Pay Rate: $31.55 per hour
(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am4:59am)
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Safely performing all phases of maintenance including electrical and mechanical systems (i.e. fabricating welding troubleshooting repairing installing and performing required preventative maintenance).
- Maintain required records reporting in writing any uncorrected mechanical/electrical defects and replacement parts to the supervisor.
- Direct/instruct subordinate employees still in training (e.g. Maintenance Mechanic B C and Trainees).
- Coordinating equipment downtime services and problems with area operators and detecting potential mechanical/electrical problems and planning for repairs.
Qualifications :
- 35 years of production equipment maintenance experience.
- Must have good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must have ability to lead and train lowerlevel maintenance personnel.
- Physically must be able to: Work in high places climb ladders and stairs work from ladders/scaffolds also work in pits and silos (confined spaces).
- Bend kneel and walk frequently.
- Move heave objects lift and move 50 pounds
- Mechanically must: Be able to make decisions and judgments on an ongoing basis. Be familiar with all phases of maintenance including electrical and mechanical systems.
- Know the mill flow patterns dry as well as liquid.
- Know the proper lubricating technique for all mill equipment.
- Be able to perform routine services and troubleshoot and repair all mill equipment.
- Be able to weld and fabricate to repair all mill equipment and installation of new equipment as needed.
- Be able to work weekends holidays and overtime as needed and able to show up on time and as schduled.
