We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Bar Supervisor to join our vibrant team in London. The ideal candidate will support the Bar Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the bar ensuring exceptional customer service maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency and fostering a positive and engaging atmosphere for both guests and staff.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Operational Management:**
Assist in managing all aspects of bar operations including inventory management ordering supplies and maintaining equipment.
Ensure the bar is wellstocked and prepared for service with all necessary ingredients and supplies.
Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the bar area adhering to health and safety regulations.
2. **Customer Service:**
Provide excellent customer service addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
Maintain a welcoming and friendly atmosphere ensuring guests have a memorable experience.
3. **Team Leadership:**
Support the recruitment training and development of bar staff.
Schedule shifts and manage staff rotas to ensure adequate coverage during peak times.
Motivate and lead the bar team promoting teamwork and a positive work environment.
4. **Financial Management:**
Assist in managing the bars budget controlling costs and maximizing profitability.
Monitor sales and prepare reports on bar performance identifying areas for improvement.
5. **Product Knowledge:**
Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the bars menu including cocktails spirits wines and beers.
Develop and promote new drink offerings and specials to enhance the bars appeal.
6. **Compliance and Standards:**
Ensure compliance with licensing laws health and safety regulations and company policies.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain high standards of quality and service.
Qualifications :
**Qualifications:**
Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality industry preferably in a bar or restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of beverages including cocktails spirits wines and beers.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to lead and motivate a team with strong organizational and problemsolving abilities.
Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as required.
Certification in food safety and alcohol service (preferred).
