Job Description
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly service oriented manner.
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Fairmont Standards as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag while working.
- Comply at all times with Fairmont standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Set up all tables in the dining room for appropriate shift.
- Prepare iced tea coffee espresso juice hot chocolate.
- Stock necessary equipment including linen china glasses cutlery and supplies to maintain proper meal period table settings.
- Maintain proper settings on tables during course of shift.
- Clear tables quickly and efficiently upon completion of courses.
- Complete cleaning duties utilizing corporate SOP checklist. (dusting sweeping wiping polishing etc.)
Qualifications :
- Mix of morning day and evening shifts
- Full availability required for this role for any shifts as needed
- Long hours sometimes may be required.
- Heavy work Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 20 pounds of force constantly to lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects.
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations.
- Must be able to maintain a level or organization and cleanliness.
