Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and customerfocused Guest Service Associate (GSA) Front Office to join our team in Visakhapatnam India. As the face of our hotel you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences from checkin to checkout.

  • Warmly greet and welcome guests providing a friendly and professional first impression
  • Efficiently manage the checkin and checkout processes ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Handle guest inquiries requests and complaints promptly and empathetically
  • Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest needs and resolve issues
  • Maintain uptodate knowledge of hotel services local attractions and events to assist guests
  • Process reservations room assignments and billing accurately
  • Manage cash transactions and reconcile accounts at the end of each shift
  • Collaborate with the front office team to ensure smooth operations and excellent service
  • Assist in training and mentoring new team members
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
  • Adapt to changing situations and handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies and safety procedures

Qualifications :

  • Hotel Management Graduate / Diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Excellent communication abilities in English; multilingual skills are a plus
  • Proven experience in problemsolving and conflict resolution
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and reservation systems
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Basic accounting and cash handling abilities
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and front office procedures
  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
  • Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite


Additional Information :

  • Responsible for daily administration meeting and greeting dealing with guests queries and complaints and booking rooms. visitors
  • Maintain high standards of customer services at the Reception desk so that customers expectations are consistently exceeded.
  • Motivate and develop Reception team to ensure smooth functioning of the department and promote teamwork.
  • Any matter which may affect the interests of Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach should be brought to the attention of the Management.
