We are seeking a dedicated and customerfocused Guest Service Associate (GSA) Front Office to join our team in Visakhapatnam India. As the face of our hotel you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences from checkin to checkout.
- Warmly greet and welcome guests providing a friendly and professional first impression
- Efficiently manage the checkin and checkout processes ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Handle guest inquiries requests and complaints promptly and empathetically
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest needs and resolve issues
- Maintain uptodate knowledge of hotel services local attractions and events to assist guests
- Process reservations room assignments and billing accurately
- Manage cash transactions and reconcile accounts at the end of each shift
- Collaborate with the front office team to ensure smooth operations and excellent service
- Assist in training and mentoring new team members
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Adapt to changing situations and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and safety procedures
Qualifications :
- Hotel Management Graduate / Diploma or equivalent qualification
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Excellent communication abilities in English; multilingual skills are a plus
- Proven experience in problemsolving and conflict resolution
- Proficiency in hotel management software and reservation systems
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Basic accounting and cash handling abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment
- Knowledge of hotel operations and front office procedures
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Additional Information :
- Responsible for daily administration meeting and greeting dealing with guests queries and complaints and booking rooms. visitors
- Maintain high standards of customer services at the Reception desk so that customers expectations are consistently exceeded.
- Motivate and develop Reception team to ensure smooth functioning of the department and promote teamwork.
- Any matter which may affect the interests of Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach should be brought to the attention of the Management.
