At Picnic were revolutionizing the way people buy groceries everyday with our innovative and sustainable concept. As part of our scale up phase were looking for Category Associates to join our team and unlock the full potential of Picnic in Germany!

What challenges await you
As a Category Associate youll play a central role in shaping and optimizing our assortment portfolio. With your motivation and passion for food you will work closely with your senior colleagues to develop an excellent and wellbalanced product range. Your focus will be on:
- Working closely with your Category Team to make the right decisions on developing our assortment as well as within pricing and promotion
- Coordinate with our current suppliers and help to launch collaborations with new suppliers
- Closely communicate with teams in supply chain customer service or marketing to ensure the best experience for our customers
- Taking over responsibility to enable a great shopping experience and to keep our article info as well as master data always up to date
About you
- Bachelor or Master degree preferably in an analytical or business education with focus on retail FMCG and/or Food
- One or more internships in category management or buying (experience in fresh food industry is a plus)
- Fluent communication in both German and English
- A high level of independency reliability and ability to communicate
- Strong analytical thinking and commercial awareness: interpreting & leveraging KPI and understanding customer preferences
- Passion for food and retail
