Sapios business is optimally positioned in a highgrowth market where regulators and customers are emphasizing data quality data access compliance and taking advantage of the latest advancements in AI making it easier for scientists lab and informatics professionals toaccelerate novel science.
Position Summary:
Sapio Sciences is seeking a parttime Freelance Content Marketing Director with a strong background in informatics scientific biotechnology and marketing content development. The ideal candidate will help create and manage a content calendar and produce highly engaging content across various formats. This role requires a creative thinker who can manage multiple priorities and deliver compelling content aligned with business goals. Excellent written English is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Strategy and Calendar Management: Develop and oversee a comprehensive content calendar that aligns with marketing objectives.
Content Creation: Produce and manage a wide range of content including:
Product brochures
Corporate PowerPoint slides
White papers and guides
Interactive online assets
Blogs and articles
Research reports in collaboration with thirdparty agencies
Emails and other digital assets
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external agencies to ensure content aligns with brand and messaging guidelines.
Quality Assurance: Maintain highquality standards across all deliverables to meet the needs of our ICP personas including a scientific and technical IT audience.
Performance Analysis: Track and analyse content performance providing insights for future optimization.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Bachelors degree in marketing Communications Biotechnology Informatics or a related field.
Proven experience in content marketing within the life sciences informatics and/or biotechnology sector.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills tailored for scientific and technical audiences.
Expertise in creating diverse content types from technical guides to creative online assets.
Familiarity with scientific informatics including LIMS and ELN is a strong advantage.
Proficiency with tools for content management and collaboration (e.g. WordPress Google Docs Powerpoint Canva. etc.)
Working Location
This is a remote fulltime position suited to someone based in either the UK or the East Coast of the US. You will be working crossfunctionally with a global team so you will need flexibility in terms of working hours.
