Job Description
Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has an opening for a Registered Nurse Telemetry Cardiac. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.
Location: Rockford IL 61103
Assignment Start Date: 12/27/2024
8 weeks Nights 12hour shift 36 hours weekly guaranteed
The Estimated Weekly Total is based on working the listed hours per week and includes available stipend amounts. Please contact a recruiter for full details.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments following approved nursing techniques policies and procedures standards of care and State laws/practice acts.
- Documents according to standards of care.
- Develops initiates and executes a patient plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient as prescribed by Physician and/or hospital policy including patient and family instruction.
- Participates in department or unit performance improvement activities which may include shared governance.
- Utilizes clinical expertise & guidance to other units/departments in support of the patients longitudinal plan of care.
- Utilizes critical thinking concerning patient safety and patient experience and appropriately escalates to the appropriate chain of command.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION
Experience:
- Extensive Cardiac experience is required!
Licenses Certifications and Registration:
- Must have a current IL RN License
- BLS/BCLS certification.
- ACLS and NIHSS are required
EMR System: EPIC experience preferred
Shift: Nights 7P 7A; every other weekend & holiday
Vaccination: Must be fully vaccinated for COVID19 and Flu.
