General Job Description
As a civil litigation attorney you will be responsible for assisting clients with a variety of disputes including but not limited to personal injury cases contract disputes employment law issues property disputes product liability claims and medical malpractice lawsuits.
Responsibilities
- Attempt to resolve claims and reach settlement outside of court through alternative dispute resolution.
- Represent clients in court and carry out all duties associated with the litigation and/or alternative dispute resolution of the clients file.
- Draft negotiate and review court documents such as pleadings affidavits settlement agreements and witness statements.
- Communicate with a variety of other professionals.
- Research relevant historic cases that bare resemblance to your ongoing files.
- Examine and evaluate any evidence that may prove beneficial to your clients.
- Interview clients conduct depositions prep for trials.

Qualifications
- Juris Doctor J.D. Degree
- License to practice in ND and MN
- Experience preferred. Pay depends on experience.
- Court room experience preferred.
