Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Manager to oversee two onsite laboratories ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and customer specifications. This is a critical leadership role focused on maintaining quality systems driving process improvements and fostering collaboration across teams and with customers.
- Oversee and manage two onsite laboratories ensuring accurate sampling testing inspection and reporting.
- Maintain safety standards and resolve analytical or equipment challenges effectively.
- Develop maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
- Collaborate closely with production teams and customers to meet quality specifications and address any concerns.
- Supervise train and develop laboratory staff while addressing performance and operational issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize quality and efficiency.
Required:
- 35 years of laboratory management experience in plastics manufacturing petrochemical or pharmaceutical industries.
- Bachelors Degree in Chemistry Chemical Engineering or Biology (preferred).
- Expertise in ISO 9001 standards with internal auditor certification.
- Proficiency with statistical analysis tools Microsoft Office Suite and instruments such as PETIV viscometers and gas chromatography analyzers.
- Strong organizational communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma credentials.
- Experience with process improvement and team leadership in a manufacturing environment.
