Job Description
Education: A Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering Business or other related scientific or technical discipline. A Masters Degree is preferred.
General Experience: Must have seven (7) years of experience in the IT field.
Specialized Experience: At least five (5) years of combined new and related older technical experience in the IT field directly related to the required area of expertise.
Personnel Preferred Experience
1. 5 years experience in relevant IT platforms including Cybersecurity ESRI SalesForce Oracle Cloud SQL Cloud Talend Cloud Azure etc. relevant to requested subject matter.
2. A thorough understanding of the specific IT domain they specialize in and that meet the requested subject need (e.g. networking cybersecurity database management software
development cloud computing etc).
3. Proficiency in relevant programming languages tools and technologies.
4. Possess a combination of technical expertise communication skills and domain knowledge in the requested IT field within the Transportation Industry.
5. 35 years experience with MS Power Platform Azure Synapse Data Factory Data Lakes Data Bricks Dataverse ESRI Cloud computing etc.

Substitution of Education for Experience
A bachelors degree or higher may be substituted for the general and specialized experience for those labor categories requiring a High School Diploma. A masters degree may be substituted
for two years of general and specialized experience for those labor categories requiring a bachelors degree. Substitution shall be reviewed and approved by the State at its discretion.
