The Opportunity:
Our Fashion Design and Product development teams for our Penn. Penningtons Brand are on a mission to redefine plussize fashion by creating beautiful trendforward products with exceptional fit that meet and exceed customer expectations.
As a fashion designer for the Penn. Penningtons brand focused on our intimates categories you will play a key role in enhancing and expanding our product offering. Your mission will involve identifying analyzing and interpreting emerging fashion trends ensuring that these trends are tailored to the tastes and expectations of our target customer. You will be responsible for creating innovative and modern collections while considering the needs for comfort style and functionality. Your ability to understand market dynamics and anticipate consumer desires will enable you to propose designs that strengthen the Penn. Penningtons brand identity and foster customer loyalty.
What you do:
- Support your leaders by defining seasonal trends for target market
- Within your commodity bring forward your awesome ideas on how to bring the latest trends to our clients.
- Work within a talented team and oversee creation of artwork and determine seasonal color cards
- Oversee the technical drawings
- Assist in decision making meetings
- Attend fittings to make sure the garments fit as well as it looks
Qualifications :
Who you are:
- University degree (or College diploma) in Fashion Design
- 5 years of related experience
- Excellent fashion sense and knack for originality and creativity
