Location: 760 Pittsburgh Drive Delaware OH 43015
Type: 1 year contract on W2 (*Opportunity to be converted for the right fit and when headcount allows.)
Schedule: 3rd Shift 10:00pm6:30am
Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and proactive 3rd Shift Color Lab Technician to join our team at our Delaware Ohio plant. In this role you will be primarily responsible for the upkeep of the color lab during the night shift ensuring that all operations are in optimal condition for the morning team. Your key responsibilities will include cleaning restocking supplies and performing maintenance tasks such as filter changes and equipment cleaning. This position is essential for maintaining a safe and efficient laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of laboratory equipment and workspaces to ensure a safe and organized environment for the morning shift.
- Restock lab materials and supplies as needed to prepare for the upcoming days operations.
- Conduct filter changes and clean equipment according to established protocols to maintain optimal performance.
- Monitor inventory levels of lab materials and communicate needs to the appropriate personnel to ensure readiness for the morning shift.
- Assist in the preparation of color samples and formulations as required supporting the Refinish Color Matching team for the next days activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all laboratory activities.
PPE: Safety shoes (steel toe). All other PPE will be supplied. Contractor will be fitted for a respirator so they must be cleanshaven on the first day.
