Our client a leading asset management firm that offers diverse investment options such as equities fixedincome securities and alternative assets is looking to employ a Portfolio Manager. The Portfolio Manager is responsible for developing and implementing investment strategies to
achieve client or organizational financial goals. This role involves managing portfolios analyzing financial data and providing insights to optimize performance. The Portfolio Manager ensures that investments align with risk tolerance market trends and regulatory requirements while maintaining strong client relationships.
Portfolio Management
Design implement and continuously monitor investment strategies that are aligned with client objectives and risk profiles.
Build and manage diversified investment portfolios across multiple asset classes (equities fixed income alternatives etc.).
Regularly rebalance portfolios to ensure alignment with evolving investment goals and market conditions.
Market Analysis and Strategy
Conduct comprehensive research on financial markets economic indicators and individual securities to identify opportunities and risks.
Analyze market trends to provide actionable insights that inform investment decisions.
Stay informed on industry developments regulatory updates and geopolitical events that could impact investment outcomes.
Client Relationship Management
Engage with clients to fully understand their financial goals risk tolerance and investment time horizons.
Provide regular updates on portfolio performance and the progress of investment strategies.
Respond to client inquiries promptly and adjust strategies as necessary to align with their changing objectives.
Risk Management and Compliance
Identify and manage investment risks to ensure compliance with client mandates and regulatory requirements.
Ensure all investment activities adhere to industry standards and organizational policies.
Prepare and maintain documentation for audits and regulatory reviews ensuring all reports are accurate and timely.
Collaboration and Leadership
Work in tandem with analysts traders and other investment professionals to execute investment strategies.
Mentor junior team members sharing expertise and best practices for effective portfolio management.
Represent the organization at client meetings industry events and networking opportunities.
Performance Management
Track and evaluate portfolio performance comparing results to benchmarks and client objectives.
Generate and present performance reports to clients and stakeholders highlighting key insights and areas for improvement.
Identify underperforming assets or strategies proposing adjustments to improve returns.
A Bachelor s degree in Finance Economics Business or a related field (Master s preferred).
Professional certifications such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or CFP (Certified Financial Planner) are highly valued.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in portfolio management or investment analysis particularly within an asset management firm.
Proven success in managing portfolios and achieving both client and organizational investment objectives.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with expertise in financial modeling and forecasting.
Indepth understanding of asset allocation risk management and financial instruments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client relationship management.
Proficiency in investment tools platforms and financial software.
Detailoriented with strong problemsolving skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
