Graduate BIM Specialist - AECOM Tishman

AECOM Tishman is seeking a Graduate BIM Specialist to be based in New York New York.

This position is expected to begin in Fall 2024.

We employ a diversified preconstruction and construction management staff of structural mechanical electrical and civil engineers; architects; technology specialists; scheduling and cost control personnel; and construction estimators and accountants. We provide expert consultation and guidance in all phases of a building project from masterplanning preconstruction options evaluation and decisionmaking to design review estimating and scheduling through procurement construction and occupancy. AECOM Tishmans staff manages all consultants and contractors on a project representing client interests throughout the project cycle. In total AECOM Tishman has built more than 900 million square feet including the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere One World Trade Center in New York.

The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

• Works under direct supervision.
• Report to MEP Project Manager and/or BIM Coordination Manager.
• Assists the BIM Coordination Manager with meetings clash detection issue reporting and tracking log creation.
• Assists with creating and modifying 3D models renderings and/or animations for promotion proposals and logistics.
• Manage VDC technology initiatives that have been implemented to support project goals.
• May help to create or maintain standards processes and goals.
• Manage electronic file structure on cloud based file repository.
• Interface between Design Consultants and Subcontracted BIM Drafters

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Architecture Structural Engineering or Construction Management or similar discipline or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proficient with production interpretation and utilization of 3D modeling techniques.
• Working knowledge of drawing production and standard construction techniques and principles.
• AutoCAD Revit and/or Navisworks expertise.
• Knowledge of Procore.
• Knowledge of Revizto or similar BIM coordination software.
