The role
As Hardware Test Engineer you will be part of the Product Design and Development team and your key responsibility will be to develop a mature way of testing our products. Working closely with the Design and Certification Engineer you play a vital role in the development testing and improvement of our product to ensure that it meets market needs.
This position comes with a high level of autonomy problem solving and many opportunities for growth.
Youll make an impact by:
- Designing and building (or being part of building) hardware experimental setups
- Owning and developing different hardware test environments for our products against requirement specifications i.e. CO2 production per unit unit performance and quality in different conditions
- Influencing hardware product development regarding design for testability
- Creating test plans test reports and professional documentation to be able to enter EU US and Asian markets and obtain safety and other certification(s) required
- Running quality investigations (creating 8D reports)
- Active role in the CO2 capture products development
What we are looking for
- A bachelors degree in Engineering or a related discipline
- 5 years of relevant handson experience focusing on testing in hardware development mechanical design or electronics
- Affinity with electrical systems and wiring
- Ability to design and run product test setup
- Proficiency in the English language
- You live in The Netherlands within commuting distance from our offices in Amsterdam
- Strong communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus
- Ability to analyze and interpret data
- Nice to have: data analysis skills C Python 3D modeling software skills
- The position requires occasional travel to client locations
