We are looking for a recent graduate or career changer eager to step into the
field of Credit Risk. As aJunior Credit Risk Analyst you will learn as you go playingan important role in developing credit risk analytics area in the bank.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyse data fromvarious sources including internal systems Credit Bureaus to identifytrends patterns and opportunities and propose changes in creditpolicy or marketing activities.
- Develop and maintain statisticalmodels e. g. scorecards for credit risk area.
- Provide actionable insights andrecommendations to stakeholders based on data analysis helping them makeinformed decisions and drive business growth.
- Collaborate with teams withindecision and analytics area and other ones in different geographicallocations.
- Effectively communicate complexanalytical findings and insights to both technical andnontechnical stakeholders through presentations reports and visualizations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- UniversityDegree in a relevant field such as Mathematics Statistics EconomicsQuantitative Methods Computer Science or Engineering.
- 12 years ofexperience in analytics or a data science field. Traineeships and summer jobs are taken into account.
- Experiencein the financial sector is preferred especially in retail credit risk area.
- Practicalknowledge from the Nordic markets will be a plus.
- Proficiencyin data modelling methodologies and statistical analysis techniques.
- Knowledge ofprogramming languages such as Python or R is preferred.
- Knowledge ofSQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Experiencein predictive modelling using logistic regression will be a plus.
- Excellentanalytical and problemsolving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Algorithmicand creative approach to solving problems.
- Good communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complexdata into clear and actionable insights.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced dynamic environment managing multiplepriorities and meeting deadlines.
Languages:Fluent English to be able to collaborate with colleagues from other countries. Finnish as well as other Nordic languages are considered a plus.
